James Lloyd Thomas is an experienced and accomplished organist, conductor, teacher and examiner. He is currently based and teaching in Nelson, New Zealand, where he is organist and director of music at Christchurch Cathedral. His range of experience enables him to offer individually tailored and comprehensive tuition to each of his organ pupils and to help them attain their goals as organists, regardless of age or level. As well as tuition in all technical and musical aspects of playing the organ, James' lessons encompass other important aspects of organ playing including performance, relaxation techniques and biomechanics.
